The Headhunter's Target
The Headhunter is a Random Voting role in Werewolf Online who is on a team of their own.[1] The Headhunter is meant to be in every second game, alternating with the Fool.
Role description
The Headhunter has no special abilities. On the first night of the game, a random villager will be assigned as their target. They win if the village lynches their target during the day.
If their target dies before the Headhunter dies, in a way other than being lynched, then the Headhunter becomes a regular villager and wins with village.
A target icon will be shown on the Headhunter's target.
Win conditions
The Headhunter wins if their target is lynched by the village. They also can win with the village if they become a villager at some point in the game.
The Headhunter only targets villagers, except for Gunner, Priest, Mayor, Cursed, Pacifist and Flower Child.
Trivia
- The Headhunter wins if their target is the Avenger even if the Headhunter gets killed by the Avenger.
- The Headhunter can be converted to Zombie or Accomplice.
- While the Headhunter is alive, their target cannot be converted into werewolf or Accomplice. The target also cannot be bitten by Zombies unless the Headhunter is dead or has turned into a Zombie.
- Once the Headhunter becomes a villager, they will stay villager even if their target gets revived by Medium.
- The Detective will see Headhunter as a different team than everybody else.
